~Jin'Lang~

--

A sultry, long-limb human female stocked the corridors of Star City. Well-endowed, skin the color of cream and glittering blue eyes, she moved with all the propose of a lioness. At least that was what everyone thought they saw, reality was in fact very different and only a powerful telepath could see past the disguise to the pale blue dragoness wearing it. Jin'Lang was a master illusionist, skilled in the power passed down through her bloodline and she revealed in every moment of using those powers. Like now - taking on the appearance of a human just because she could. It wasn't a complete illusion though as anyone who happened to touch her would agree. Silken fur and smooth jewel-like scales gave her away.

Claiming the desire to escape from the keep for awhile. Jin'lang had actually gone to investigate the private clutch she had heard of. The concept of a private clutch of special breeding intrigued her and she had the (for her) strangest thought of perhaps trying out what all those humans seemed enthralled with. Arriving at her destination Jin'lang let her illusion fall and smoothed out her fur before she stepped through the door.

"So small," Jin'lang mused aloud, looking down at the little hatchling dozing curled between the larger dragon's (by comparison) large paws. She was inwardly amazed at how much a bloodline could change in just a few generations. Making a soft purring/hum sound in the back of her throat Jin'lang stretched out and tried to move her paws away without waking her charge.

Jin'lang was back home in a sand-filled and magically warmed cave. The glint and shine of metals and jewels littered the floor  of the cave, mixed in with the yellow sand. Half of a broken shell, shining opal like the hatchling's coat, was leaned against the wall on a small ledge well off the floor.
