Appearance: A handsome man, his hair is dark but not quite black and his eyes are a playful green. He has a slim yet muscular build and is very athletic. He has a handful of scars on his chest and back from various accidents and a few fights.

Personality:  Charismatic and more intelligent that he first appears he has a laidback personality and usual does as he pleases, frequently ruffling feathers yet able to diplomatically smooth with ease. Cheerful and friendly he has a calming effect on people and a (sometimes devious) sense of humor. He hates fighting and goes out of his way to avoid conflict when he knows he can't win over his opponent. Dependable, he takes his duties seriously.

History: Both his parents were dragonriders and he was his father's only son he has lived at the keep his whole life. When he was around seven he was apprenticed to the previous keep dragon overseer. Of all the candidates for keep overseer he quickly rose to the top and was the natural choice when the old overseer retired. Recently he has taken on a couple of apprentices, delegating tasks to them so he can be elsewhere on official keep business. While he has never bonded or sponsored a dragon he has been around them so much it hardly matters.

Job: Weyrleader, or at least the equivalent of one. He essentially oversees everything directly dragon-related at the keep - the care of the dragons, training of the riders and sponsors. Official job title is 'Keep Lord', but he says it sounds too harsh.
