After a night's rest and quick breakfast you head out on the path again. After a brief pause when you decide to continue going ahead on the path instead of going back the way you came you start walking at a brisk pace. The morning is calm with only a little mist left to give the world hazy edges, the path leads you away from the ocean and rocky beach, up a hill and back inland. As you reach the crest of the hill your mouth drops open at the sight beyond it.
A meadow full of flowers in full bloom in the early morning light, dew glinting
in the dawn. Flowers of gold, white, blue, red and pink grow in a way that they
cover the meadow. There is movement in the flowers that is against the direction
of the light breeze, a heavy built crystal mare rises to her feet, having
previously been lost in the confusion of the chaos of the flowers' colors. Her coat of gold and white made her easy to lose in the many flowers, but not that she was standing you could clearly pick her out. She tosses her black mane and whinnies a greeting to you before she carefully picks her way through the flowers to you. Once close enough she reaches out and gives you a little nudge in way of a greeting. "Gam'cha," she says quietly and you return the greeting. But before you can ask her what her name is there is a commotion beyond a nearby flower-covered hill. A black and white mare leaps into view, her black mane and tail flying behind her.
