The Crystal Lands

The road ends suddenly, disappearing into the shifting golden sands of a wide beach.You glance worriedly at the sky, the sun is sinking lower to the horizon, casting golden and violet hues across the heavens. A whinny draws your attention to the beach were a mare is playing in the surf, kicking up sand and water in all directions. She wheels and rears, crashing into the in coming waves. A second whinny joins her's as another crystal races into the surf to play alongside her.

You blink in confusion, sure you are seeing double - the two crystals looked the same, down to their markings and green eyes. The mare seems more smoothly lined then the stallion, and they wore their manes and tails different and had different manners but other then that they were the same. You finally draw the only conclusion - they are twins.


('Ros is in front and Enbrent is behind her)

"Enbrent! Look - a visitor!" The mare cries when she spots you wondering down the beach toward them. The stallion smiles and trots over to you, "Gam'cha!" he says cheerfully, "I'm Enbrent'tz'Zory - 'Weaving New Dreams' - and this is my twin sister Zketes'Ros'Arlaa - 'Cloud Seeking Spirit'." The mare smiles and nods, "gam'cha."

You exclaim that your happy your guess that they were twins was correct, Enbrent'tz'Zory laughs. "And what else would we be?" Zketes'Ros'Arlaa laughs as well, "Yes! And perhaps you've met our siblings? Or our parents?" You suddenly see their resemblance to Arlaa'kik and you tell them as much, both grin. "Bingo!" The mare laughs.

"Oh traveler, look at the sun." Enbrent'tz'Zory says suddenly, "Didn't we promise to meet Halti'Zteky for dinner, Sister? And we shouldn't keep the traveler much longer." "Oh dear, yes!" Zketes'Ros'Arlaa exclaims, "I must have lost track of time while we were playing, I guess we shall see you around." "I'm sure of it."

After saying your goodbyes you are soon once again heading off down the sandy beach...
